Hate Speech?

What is it and why is it legal, if you'd bothered to read the constitution.

Amendment I

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

Wow, look at that, perhaps you read the paragraph above, it’s the first amendment in the Constitution of the United States. Some say it’s first cause it’s the most important one, but that seems to be a moving goalpost these days. Keep in mind every public official, including politicians, military, police, etc… swear to protect the Constitution. Again, I’m expecting perhaps too much, but if indeed everyone who takes the oath of office could first read it and take a quiz, that would be spiffy, cause currently it seems like nobody, including SCOTUS seems to have bothered.

For those reading in the future, assuming there is such a thing, currently in the US of A, we have humans in charge who claim to be for free speech, in fact they declared that comedy was now legal, except of course if that comedy hurts the feelings of those same free speech folk.

Let’s try something controversial and crazy, I’m going to post a clip of this free speech absolutist explain what he means by it and why he thinks it’s a good idea that we don’t stifle any speech in this country. I think he makes a compelling point, let’s see if I get fired, doxxed, or put on the new McCarthy list, you know cause everything is super great now and freedom is booming. Also love that a single egg now costs a dollar, awesome.
